In Russia, Jeep Drives You!

First off, we applaud anyone who gets the title as an old school 80's pop-culture reference. Over in Russia, Fiat is considering opening a Jeep plant, which will produce models like Jeep Liberty for Europe, one of Jeep's largest growing markets (aside from North America, obviously).
Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is on a mission to boost sales throughout Europe. Chrysler's deliveries outside North America jumped 41% in 2011 to about 105,000. Aside from a Russian-based operation selling throughout the region, a China-only Jeep model may be produced and sold there by 2013 or 2014.
"Russia seems to have enormous demand for passenger cars and SUVs," said Hans-Peter Wodniok, an analyst at Fairesearch Germany. "The factory could become a success if Fiat and Chrysler produces not just a single model there. I see as essential that this facility will be flexible."1
Sales of new cars climbed in Russia to 2.8 million this year, the Association of European Businesses estimates. Deliveries of vehicles from outside these nations climbed 39% last year to 2.65 million as well.
Fairfield Auto Group - 5071 Lycoming Mall Drive, Montoursville, PA 17754 has a full line-up of Jeep vehicles to choose from.
